Meet our Musicians

Claudia Schieve - Vocalist

Claudia has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church with her singing gifts since 2008.  She developed a passion for music from her parents, who are both musicians, and continues the passion by adding the guitar and ukulele to her repertoire.  Claudia enjoys singing for God and for the community, and to her singing "is like praying."  Claudia is a full-time marketing specialist at TKG in the Canton area. In her free time, she enjoys painting and creating art.

Sara Kronholz - Vocalist/Lead Minister

Sara has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church since 2007 as a vocalist.  Her musical inspiration came from her mother and from her childhood church growing up.  She joined St. Colette's music team as a student at Holy Name at the bequest of Fr. Krizner and currently serves as the church’s Music Minister and Marketing and Communications Coordinator. “I’m so grateful for my St. Colette family and how God has blessed my life through the many great friends I have here.”

CHRISTOPHER CHARLILLO- VOCALIST

Christopher has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church since 2014 as a vocalist.  His inspiration to sing and be active at St. Colette started with his grandfather who was a musician.  He was encouraged to participate and has been happy ever since.  Christopher keeps returning because "the caring and thoughtful St. Colette Staff and parishioners make this a wonderful place to be every week."  In his free time, Christopher can be found exercising, skiing, gardening, traveling and camping.

Ralph Holstein

Ralph has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church since 1984 as a bassist.  Ralph enjoys giving back to the church and his community along with playing and participating in the ensemble of talent at St. Colette.  He has been playing since the 4th grade and his music talents extend beyond the double bass to the guitar, electric bass, and cello.  When not performing for the church, Ralph enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.  During the day, Ralph is employed at Albion Industries Inc.

Cindy Indovina - PIANIST/Organist

Cindy has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church with her organ and piano talents since 2007.  Her musical inspiration came from her maternal grandmother and she has been striking the ivory keys for over 50 years.  She acquired a Masters Degree in Music Education and gives to the community by creating "a beautiful and uplifting worship experience."  Cindy enjoys her free time with friends and family and loves getting lost in a good mystery novel.

Todd Schrader - Guitarist

Todd has been serving St. Colette Catholic Church with his guitar skills since 2013.  However, he had the passion for music at the age of 8 when he began his first guitar lessons.  He has done a lot of self teaching as an adult.  To Todd, music is "like praying twice, which is awesome!"  He views his talents as gifts from God and he is happy to share them.  Todd is a full-time attorney at Seeley, Savidge, Ebert & Gourash Co., LPA and enjoys golfing and hunting in his free time.

In Memoriam

John A. Venesile, Ph.d. - PIANIST/ORGANIST (1937-2016)

Dr. John served St. Colette Catholic Church starting in 2005 as a piano virtuoso.  His family taught him the love of music and he carried that joy and love forward to acquire his doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.  He enjoyed working with other musicians in the parish and sharing his talents with God and the parish community.  Dr. John was a retired professor emeritus from Cuyahoga Community College and he always enjoyed spending as much time in the sun and by the ocean as he could.

Charlie Hannon, Pianist (1961-2022)

Charlie’s love of God, sense of humor, and talent are just some of the characteristics that made him a beloved member of Music Ministry (pictured above, top left at the Penny Carnival 2021). His quiet confidence in his ability and musicianship, and the subtle smile that often graced his face when he played, was enough to know that his music was his prayer…. and so was his sense of humor! He would always say how grateful he was to be a part of our ministry, but we remain the grateful ones. His witness continues to inspire us each and every time we make music together at Mass.

Little Charlie Buckets,

largely kind He’ll hardly cause a ruckus.

He says, “What’s that, Oh neat”

An unrehearsed mid-Mass treat!

Not a problem, as he mutters

A snarly Charlie quip Through this teeth.

As yet a humble guy

He sits and pries

The music from the keys.
